When the restaurant I worked part-time at closed down, I needed to replace my earnings, and quickly progressed my hobby to form a business which continued to grow over my years at 6th form. After leaving school I went to work as a DJ abroad and returned to start a university course. I realised ater a year that this wasn't what I wanted to do, and my DJ business was busy enough to continue with as a full-time job. That was several years ago and I've since gone from strength to strength. I have no doubt that alot of my success is due to being involved with NADJ and networking with other DJs. This has allowed me to continue to learn new skills, improve the service I offer and ultimatley charge higher fees! |

I can remember DJ-ing from as early as 13 years old, when I entertained friends & neighbors at small gatherings. I was always fascinated by the equipment & technology and even remember running my own radio shows from my bedroom, with my brother next door as the only listener! Throughout my time at school I DJ'd at school events and picked up work for friends, whilst continuing to grow popular as the "only DJ in the village"!!
